Why are there watermarks in photographs?

Photographs in Portals and their articles have a watermark with the Collectors Bridge logo. It is a way to make sure that if some user shares one of these images, it has a reference to where it came from and where you can get more information.

When you create a Collection, you have the option to leave all the photographs blank and in this case the Collection will inherit the photographs from the Portal and its Articles. In this situation, the User will still have amazing photographs in its collection, but they will include an additional “Sample Image” watermark to incentivize our users to change their photographs as soon as possible.
